When I saw some blog template with custom favico on that hosted on blogger, I realized that you can edit the icon what ever you like... its more easier than I think, you don't have to use favico generator or something like that, what you have to do is just to enter the code to the HTML template.

so here is the step...
1. Find the suitable image that you want to use for icon.
2. Host the image anywhere you like.
3. Get the Link Location for the image.
4. make the code like this
<link href='http://www.your-image-url.com/filename.jpg' rel='shortcut icon'/>
5. Go to Layout --> Edit HTML. Find head section and then put the code below it. If you confuse how to find it use ctrl + F

don't forget to change your-image-url.com/filename.jpg to your image location

if the code doesn't work properly... try to add / at the end rel='shortcut icon'/>
